Velocix web seminar on online video

Velocix, the content distribution network (CDN) provider that specialises in streaming applications, has broadcast a web seminar on online video recently, which included a presentation by an analyst from Screen Digest that had some interesting facts and figures about the online video market, and it included some interesting slides on broadband take-up that are shown below. One interesting statistic that's shown in the first two figures below is that the number of UK households that have broadband is predicted to rise from around 55% of households in 2007 up to almost 80% in 2012, which equates to an increase from 13.9 to 20.2 million households.
