- Internet streaming technologies
- Video and audio codecs used for streaming
internetstreams.co.uk is a 'sister' website to digitalradiotech.co.uk, which provides news, information and covers the technologies used on digital radio systems.
internetstreams.co.uk was set up for two main reasons:
- Because the Internet offers so much potential as a broadcasting platform
- digitalradiotech.co.uk was increasingly covering Internet radio, but it wasn't the right place to cover Internet TV streaming, so this website will cover both
digitalradiotech.co.uk will continue to cover Internet radio as well, but it will now concentrate more on the terrestrial digital radio systems, such as DAB, DAB+, DMB, DRM+.
